Paula Rotschafer is a mixed media artist and certified K-12 Art Educator with over 12 years of experience working with kids. Her curiosity and commitment to experimentation make her classes a welcoming space for young makers. With a BA in Professional Art from Doane University and an MA in Art History from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln, Paula is a skilled instructor in watercolor and acrylic painting, collage, printmaking, textiles, drawing, and sculpture. Her teaching emphasizes exploration, mistake-making, and creative growth—approaches she practices daily in her own studio. Having lived in diverse places including Guam, Nebraska, Washington D.C., Florida, Texas, and California, Paula brings a globe-trotting perspective and a knack for uncovering hidden worlds that helps students develop confidence, curiosity, and original visual voices.
