Jessica Reynoso

My name is Jessica Reynoso and I make jewelry through a process called electro-forming, where I essentially grow metal onto a conductive surface (crystals!) through the process of electricity in an acid solution. I am very passionate about this form of jewelry making because I love how I can mix science with nature and create something beautiful.

I have been making art since I was very little! I have always gravitated towards all kinds of art and just love the way I feel when I am creating. I am my truest self when I make art.

The idea that I can create something beautiful and meaningful for another person that makes them feel good, inspires me. Whether they just feel pretty wearing it, or the piece of jewelry is meaningful to them because it represents a loved one or helps heal their heart with its energies. When it is meaningful to someone else, it becomes meaningful to me. I am also inspired by my children. If I can do something I love while supporting them and show them they too can do something they love in life, then it is all worth it to me.

My advice to new artists is, don’t hold back! When you let go of your doubts and insecurities, you can accomplish great things. Art is an expression of your true self. Dig deep within and let your passion for art tell your story. There is no wrong way to do it!
