Hi, I’m Beth Aitken
I believe we all start as artist, but for some there is no option but to continue do it.
I learned early that I was not a painter, but was drawn to pencils instead. I love both graphite and colored pencil. That is my first love, but about 20 years ago I discovered encaustics and have continued to learn new styles and techniques. My most recent interest is mixed media and assemblage, often times combining my two loves with it.
My advice to any artist is to continue to do it! Look for opportunities to learn more and always be proud of what you do.
