Big Day of Giving
Big Day of Giving is THE online giving opportunity of the year that unites and inspires the community to support the hundreds of nonprofits that make the greater Sacramento region an amazing place to call home. It is unique to our region and is an important way for donors to provide operating dollars to the causes that they care most about.
WHEN is it?
The Big Day of Giving takes place all day on Thursday, May 1, from midnight to midnight. However, if you are worried you might miss it, you can give early anytime between April 18 through the Big Day of Giving.
WHY should I donate during Big Day of Giving?
Imagine a WORLD WITHOUT ART- and the beauty, thought, emotion, and happiness that it brings.

Ignite the financial vitality of the Art League of Lincoln with your generous donation.
Together, let’s nurture a flourishing arts community and leave a lasting artistic legacy.
Join us in shaping a vibrant future through the power of your support.
Support the Art League of Lincoln on Giving Tuesday. Your donations go a long way in helping us provide more free education to Lincoln’s youth.
About Giving Tuesday
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Join the movement and give – on November 26 and every day – whether it’s some of your time, a donation, or the power of your voice in your local community.
It’s a simple idea: whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to contribute toward building the better world we all want to live in.
